Hey Queens!

I have always been an adventurous person, but when I took my first trip out of the country to Jamaica in November 2017, I got the international travel bug. So this blog post will be all about the top 5 countries that are on my bucket list. As far as domestic travel, I want to visit Texas and Hawaii very soon!

1. Paris, France

Paris gives me such romantic vibes. I'm not a huge fan of French food, but Paris is number 1 on my travel bucket list because it's a beautiful country with gorgeous Parisian architecture and scenery, and the trip doesn't cost an arm and a leg. After doing some research, it seems as though the spring time is the ideal time to visit Paris. There aren't tons of tourists and the price is much cheaper than visiting in the summer, so when I do go, it will probably be in the month of May.

2. Santorini + Mykonos, Greece

Greece is a little more pricey; therefore it has been bumped to number two on my list. For as long as I can remember, I wanted to celebrate my honeymoon in Greece. It's probably because I was a Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants fanatic in my teenage years, The country has absolutely beautiful architecture and beaches. The culture seems so rich and deep and the people seem full of life and happiness. Also, the food is tasty! I haven't had Greek food straight from Greece, but I've had some great dishes here in America.

3. Ghana

If you don't know, I'm an honorary Ghanaian. I have tons of friends from Ghana that have become family. I love their culture, food, and everything about the people, so it's only right to visit the country that has roots of my own lineage. According to my mom's Ancestry.com results, she has Ghanaian and Nigerian blood, so that would be also true for me. Two of my friends visit often, and I would love to go if the plane ticket wasn't the cost of my rent LOL. I'll make it one day though.

4. Rome, Italy

Rome is also known for it's historic architecture. There are plenty of landmarks to visit and Italian food is also delicious. Rome also gives me all the romantic feels and I believe this would be a great trip to take with a significant other.

5. Bora Bora

This place looks absolutely gorgeous! It's also the most expensive. I love the over-water bungalows. It looks like paradise and would definitely be a great trip just to relax and unwind. And if you so choose to do excursions, they offer things like snorkeling, diving, cruising, fishing, paddle boarding, kitesurfing, Jet Skiing, and of course, shark and ray feeding, and a tour of the island by helicopter.
